Stress Test

openMosix has a Stress Test suite available developed by Matt Rechenburg in order to be sure that the migShm patch did not make problematic changes to the openMosix functionality I had to run the openMosix Stress test on my migShm environment

There were some issues while running these test, such as a couple of "Bad address" errors. But for the rest the tests looked good, but not perfect yet.

However other people report "What I, and others, were seeing when we tried migShm with kernel 2.4.21 and several different distributions were *instantaneous* lockups as soon as the stress test was started. The kernel still did respond to magic SysRq after the lockups. Nothing in the logs. Mine was running X, I assume others were as well." (Luke Palmer , Aug 22 openmosix-users ml)

Actually migShm currently is not compatible with X yet, so when doing test you should abstain from running it

I myself have not seen such behavior during the openMosix Stress testing procedures.
