Introduction

Within this paper i will try to describe the experiences I went through when trying and testing the migShm patch from the Maask group. I divided this document into 3 separate parts, the first part concentrates on openMosix in general with is current issues. The second pard will go deeper into the Shared Memory migration problem and the Maask solution for this problem. And in the 3rd part I will have a closer look at the actual results I got by using and testing an openMosix-migShm enabled cluster.
